In November 2020, the laboratory quality management system was assessed by Kenya Accreditation Service (KENAS), and the laboratories were found in compliance with the accreditation requirements set under ISO15189:2012. The success of the laboratory has been attributed to management support and great personnel teamwork across all departments within the program.
