PMTC (Prevention Of Mother-To-Child Transmission)

We help HIV-positive mothers have healthy, HIV-negative babies. Services include HIV testing during pregnancy, medication to protect your baby, safe delivery guidance, and infant testing. Our program has reduced transmission to just 1%.

Cervical Cancer Screening

Screening and treatment for cervical cancer, is particularly important for women living with HIV. We use modern screening methods and provide immediate treatment if needed. HPV vaccination is available for girls aged 10-14 years.

Post Violence Care

Comprehensive support for domestic violence survivors including medical care, counseling, and referral services. Our trained staff provide confidential support, emergency care, and connection to legal and social services when needed.

We follow Kenya's immunization schedule:

  • Birth: BCG, Polio
  • 6 weeks: DPT, Polio, Pneumonia
  • 10 weeks: DPT, Polio
  • 14 weeks: DPT, Polio

HPV (Human Papillomavirus) is a common virus that can cause cervical cancer. Most people get HPV at some point, but usually, the body clears it naturally. However, some types of HPV can stay in the body and cause cell changes that may lead to cancer. That's why we offer:

  • HPV vaccination for prevention
  • Regular screening to catch any changes early
  • Quick treatment if needed

Yes, the HPV vaccine is very safe and proven to prevent cervical cancer. We recommend it for:

  • Girls aged 10-14 years
  • Given in two doses, 6 months apart
